This powder horn has an engrailed border. This horn is finished with a cream colored patina on the body and a dark tip. The tip has an octagon paneled end, raised strap ring, and smooth transition to an engrailed border to the horn body. The horn measures 11-1/2" around the outside curve from the tip to the end of the turned base, the acorn finial adds about 1" to the overall length. Small iron nails secure the base to the horn. A turned wooden stopper is fitted. Add a leather or woven strap and this horn is ready to go!
