The caped woodsman's frock is a style worn for more than 150 years of our early history. The coat was worn by men who joined Rogers Rangers in the French and Indian wars, by Washingtons troops a Valley Forge and by Brisbanes Regiment of the South Carolina militia in the 1836 Seminole War.
Options for this wrap style frock include square and round edges of the bottom and cape, gathered or tapered sleeves and a choice of fabric or leather. Colors traditionally varied from unbleached homespun to earthy camoflage gold, green and brown tones to the military navy, grey and black. Includes Men's sizes 36 through 50. Intermediate sizes are easily made with this pattern.
