This gently curved stock is modeled after those made in Allentown-Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. This stock style is also similar to those made by A. Verner, of Buck's County, Pennsylvania. Only cut for a 7/8" octagon 42" barrel, 3/8" ramrod hole drilled full depth. Up to 15" pull, 4-1/4" drop from the line of sights to heel. Butt end is about 5-1/4" x 1-3/4", not cut for buttplate.
Shaping includes forend, crisp lock panels, straight checkpiece, not cut for the buttplate. Lock panels are shaped, with no lock mortise cut. Hand inlet your flint or percussion lock, and single or set trigger. Not cut for the tang hand inlet a straight, flared, or your own custom shaped breech plug.
