Order Track's 1746 Willits pattern First Model Brown Bess. Copied from a original musket, stock is inlet for Track's 1746 Willits lock castings, buttplate, triggerguard, thumbpiece, ramrod pipes, and drilled full depth for a 7/16" tapered ramrod. Rounded beavertail molding is cut around the tang. Tapered round barrel channel is cut to accept the 46" Colerain Brown Bess barrel.
This pre-inlet stock is shaped with a square block to allow for easy mounting of the stock in a vise while fitting the furniture.
