Carved from plain cherry, plain maple, or curly maple. This Kentucky pistol stock is described as a Dueling Pistol shape, because it has the distinctive flats on the grips, found on both Kentucky pistols and English dueling pistols of the late flint period.
The barrel channel is inlet for your 13/16" octagon 10" or shorter barrel. Drilled for a 5/16" ramrod. Not inlet for lock or trigger, you may select and install your choice of flint or percussion locks.
