Called the large John Bivins triggerguard, this large 1770 era Lancaster County style triggerguard was modelled after the work of the famous Isaac Haines, perhaps the most influencial gun maker in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The bow is longer than our small Bivins style, large enough for any double set triggers, but often used with our Bivins single trigger and plate.
It is most often used with our John Bivins early Lancaster stock, pre-inlet for 42" swamped barrel.
Overall length is 10", inside trigger bow is 3" long, and 15/16" deep.
Made in the USA, wax cast brass, designed by John Bivins.
Use our #PIN-3/32 steel dowel pin, through each mounting lug, at front and rear.
