This 1760's style belt knife has a 8" long, high carbon steel blade with a dark blue finish. The 4-5/8" long handle is figured maple with a satin finish that brings out the wood's natural grain. The handle is retained by three steel pins. The sheath is 11" long, made of suede leather, and sewn with heavy, white sinew. The sheath is sewn with a welted seam to protect the stitching from the blade. The sheath can be worn for both left and right handed use. The loop will accept up to a 1-3/4" belt. This knife would make a great rifleman's or hunter's belt knife.
