1746 Brown Bess Ramrod Pipes, 3/8" for tapered rod, brass

Shown in top view, and side view, these ramrod pipes are copied directly from an original First Model Brown Bess, marked 1746, about 3/8" inside diameter, for a tapered 7/16" ramrod, wax cast brass.

Our entry pipe (where rod enters the wood) has an integral skirt. The pipe body is 1-3/4" length, about 4-7/8" overall, including the skirt. Wax cast brass. Use our #PIN-3/32" steel dowel pin for mounting the entry.

Our forward pipe, with lug for pin, is 1-1/2" overall length. First Model Brown Bess Muskets use three forward pipes. Use our #PIN-3/32 steel dowel pin, to retain the brass pipe.

Our 1746 Brown Bess stockis pre-inlet for these nice wax cast brass pipes. Or, use these on your early English Officer's fusil, carbine, blunderbuss, coach gun, or wall gun. An early American Committee of Safety muskets might use these pipes, if fitted with an early style wooden ramrod. Later Brown Bess muskets used smaller trumpet shaped pipes, and steel ramrods.
