This is a French style trigger plate, a correct copy of the original in our Tulle fusil-de-chasse. It is an attractive design, suitable for use on pistols, longrifles, and fowling guns that are fitted with a single trigger.

The slot is .095" wide, and is ideal for use with our #TR-TULLE-2-T correct replica Tulle fusil trigger.br>
Made in the USA, by Track of the Wolf, Inc. Wax cast steel, this malleable 8620 alloy steel trigger plate can be cold bent to fit nearly any straight or pistol grip style stock. Made as a "wear plate", your trigger can be pinned directly to the wood, as was almost always done on original guns, to maximize the leverage and minimize the trigger release effort.

Not polished, not finished, you may drill and tap the double thick boss at front, to accept your tang screw. We offer 8-32 and 10-32 taps and tap drills, at very low prices. Always use High Carbon Steel "gunsmith" taps, not the more costly "HSS" taps, which are nearly impossible to remove if ever broken. It is wise to drill and tap this plate "in position" in the gun stock, if possible.
